What is the mechanism of action?

Kindly note that our service operates from Lagos to London, which includes Luton and Milton Keynes alongside other parts of the UK. For individuals residing outside exempted cities in London, an extra fee will be charged for us to deliver your parcel. However, you have the option of collecting your package at any of our offices situated in Woolwich, East London, Shoreditch Peckham or North West London instead.

An additional fee will be charged.

There are extra delivery fees for doorstep deliveries in London, Milton Keynes and Luton. Customers residing outside these cities must pick up their orders from any of our outlets situated in London.

An extra charge is required.

The lowest amount we are willing to accept for shipment from Lagos to London is either 5kg with a minimum charge of £20, while outside London the threshold rises to 10kg and a minimum fee of £50 applies.

In Lagos, we don’t offer home collection services. Instead, customers are required to deliver their cargo to our office for security inspection and scanning.

Customers are responsible for verifying and inquiring about the permissibility of their shipment into the United Kingdom.

It is the responsibility of customers and their consignees to ensure compliance with our terms and conditions regarding items brought in. These can be found on our website for reference.

If your shipment contains personal belongings, you don’t have to take care of clearing it through UK customs. Our team will handle everything for you. However, certain cargo may require the shipper to pay extra fees and duties if they are not classified as personal effects. If this applies to your situation, please note that you’ll be responsible for any applicable charges.

Cargo from Nigeria is restricted when entering the UK.

The UK prohibits certain freight and cargo, including fish, crayfish and dairy products. To ensure compliance with the complete list of restricted items in the Prohibited List, please refer to it. For professional advice or if unsure about any item’s eligibility for transport into the country via our network, kindly contact us.”

How to process payment?

Payment can be made in either Nigeria or the UK. It is important to know what type of products you are importing into the country, as ignorance of the law is not acceptable. Please note that Lolad Freight Logistics takes no responsibility on behalf of any customer both here in UK and our team located in Nigeria.

To send freight from Nigeria to the UK, customers are required to adhere to our operational protocols.

For proper scrutiny by the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agencies (NDLA), it is mandatory in Nigeria for your agent or bearer of the goods to personally deliver them at Nahco shed.
